في حديثٍ مع “ليبانون ديبايت”، أشار نقيب الصيادلة في لبنان، جو سلوم، إلى أن الأوضاع المعيشية الصعبة وعدم الاستقرار السياسي والأمني ساهمت بشكل كبير في تفشي ظاهرة الاعتماد على أدوية الأعصاب والمهدئات. وأضاف سلوم أن هذا الإدمان بات يشكل تهديدًا جادًا للصحة النفسية والذهنية للمواطنين، ما يستدعي تدخلاً سريعًا من جميع الجهات المعنية.
غزو الأدوية عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والأندية الليلية
أوضح سلوم أن الأدوية التي يتم تناولها بشكل غير قانوني، بما في ذلك المنشطات والمهدئات، يمكن الحصول عليها بسهولة من خلال منصات التواصل الاجتماعي أو في الأماكن العامة مثل الأندية الرياضية والليلية. هذه الظاهرة تعكس غياب الرقابة على سوق الأدوية، مما يزيد من خطر الإدمان وانتشاره بين فئات واسعة من المجتمع اللبناني.

شدّد نقيب الصيادلة على ضرورة تفعيل وتطبيق القوانين التي تنظم صرف الأدوية النفسية والمهدئة بشكل صارم، مع ضرورة عدم منح تراخيص عشوائية لصيدليات غير شرعية تسعى لتحقيق أرباح غير قانونية على حساب صحة المواطنين. كما دعا الصيادلة إلى التزام معايير المهنة الصحية والإنسانية، من خلال صرف هذه الأدوية بناءً على وصفات طبية موثقة، مع ضرورة تسجيل هذه الوصفات وإرسالها إلى دائرة المخدرات في وزارة الصحة العامة.

ختامًا، أكّد سلوم على ضرورة تكاتف الجهود بين وزارات الصحة والداخلية، نقابة الصيادلة، الأجهزة الأمنية والجمعيات الأهلية للحد من تفشي هذه الظاهرة، واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لمنع بيع الأدوية المخدرة بطريقة غير قانونية. كما أشار إلى أن هذه الجهود يجب أن تتضمن محاسبة المسؤولين عن الترويج لهذه الأدوية وحمايتهم.

In an interview with “Lebanon Debate,” the head of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Lebanon, Joe Salloum, explained that the deteriorating living conditions and lack of political and security stability have led to an increase in the reliance on psychiatric medications. Salloum warned that this addiction poses a grave threat to the mental and emotional health of the population, calling for urgent intervention from all relevant authorities.
The Spread of Medication Through Social Media and Nightclubs
Salloum further emphasized that these medications, including stimulants and tranquilizers, are often available through social media platforms or in public venues like sports clubs and nightclubs. In conclusion, Salloum called for coordinated efforts between the Ministries of Health and Interior, the Pharmacists Syndicate, law enforcement agencies, and civil society organizations to combat this widespread phenomenon.
