وأفاد البلاغ أن محمد العلي كان في العقد الثالث من العمر، وكان يعاني من ظروف قد تكون قد أثرت على هويته أو مكان إقامته. بعد فحص بصماته، تم التأكد من هويته، لكن للأسف تعذر الوصول إلى ذويه بسبب فقدانهم لوثائق الإقامة.

وفقًا لتصريحات السلطات، تم العثور على الجثة في منطقة الروشة/ الدالية، في مكانٍ كانت جثته قد تُركت فيه دون أن يحضر أي شخص للإبلاغ عنها. كما أشار البيان إلى أنه تم تحديد سبب الوفاة من خلال فحص الطبيب الشرعي، الذي أكد أن الوفاة كانت طبيعية.

ودعت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي إلى التعاون من خلال الاتصال بفصيلة الروشة في وحدة شرطة بيروت عبر الرقم 771962-01، في حال كان لدى أي شخص معلومات عن أسرة أو أقارب محمد مدين العلي. كما طلبت السلطات من المعنيين الحضور لاستلام الجثة من مستشفى المقاصد، حيث تم نقلها في وقتٍ لاحق.

In an official statement issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, security forces announced the discovery of an unidentified man’s body in the Roucheh area of Beirut on Sunday, February 21, 2025. Preliminary security tests revealed that the body belongs to Mohammed Medin Al-Ali, born in 2001, from Syria.
The statement explained that Mohammed was in his third decade of life, and his circumstances, possibly due to issues with his residency, made it difficult to reach his family. After fingerprint analysis, his identity was confirmed, but it was impossible to contact his relatives because they were reportedly undocumented.
