عشية شهر رمضان… الدواجن الطازجة متوفرة بكميات كبيرة في الأسواق اللبنانية
في إطار التحضيرات لشهر رمضان المبارك، طمأن رئيس النقابة اللبنانية للدواجن، وليم بطرس، اليوم الخميس، المواطنين اللبنانيين بشأن توفر الدواجن البلدية الطازجة بكميات وفيرة في الأسواق اللبنانية. وأكد بطرس أن الإنتاج المحلي للدواجن قادر على تلبية احتياجات الاستهلاك المحلي، خصوصًا في الفترة التي تسبق شهر رمضان المبارك.
وأوضح بطرس أن الفترة التي تسبق شهر رمضان عادة ما تشهد زيادة ملحوظة في الطلب على الفروج ومقطعات الدجاج، نظرًا لاستخدامها في تحضير العديد من الأطباق التقليدية التي تشتهر بها المائدة الرمضانية مثل المنسف والمحاشي. وأضاف بطرس أن هذه الزيادة في الطلب تأتي بالتزامن مع بدء الصوم لدى الطوائف المسيحية، مما يؤدي إلى انخفاض استهلاك اللحوم بشكل عام. وفي الوقت نفسه، شهد السوق اللبناني زيادة كبيرة في الطلب على الدواجن خلال الأسبوعين الأولين والأخيرين من شهر رمضان، وهو ما يساعد على تحقيق التوازن في السوق المحلي.
وبالنسبة للأسعار، أكد بطرس أن الأسعار تتأثر بقوانين العرض والطلب، حيث أن أسعار الدواجن تعتمد على كمية الإنتاج المحلي وزيادة الطلب خلال هذه الفترة. وفي الوقت نفسه، أشار بطرس إلى أن الأسعار في الوقت الحالي تعتبر ضمن الهوامش المنطقية، ما يعكس استقرارًا نسبيًا في سوق الدواجن المحلي.
وفي ختام بيانه، قدّم بطرس تهنئته الحارة لجميع اللبنانيين بمناسبة قرب حلول شهر رمضان المبارك، متمنيًا أن يكون هذا الشهر فرصة للسلام والرخاء للجميع.
Ahead of Ramadan… “Reassuring” News for Lebanese Consumers
As Ramadan approaches, William Botros, the head of the Lebanese Poultry Syndicate, reassured Lebanese citizens today, Thursday, that fresh local poultry is available in large quantities in Lebanese markets. Botros confirmed that local poultry production is capable of meeting domestic consumption needs, especially with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan.
Botros explained that the period before Ramadan usually witnesses a significant increase in demand for chicken and poultry cuts, as they are commonly used in traditional dishes such as “Mansaf” and “Mahshi.” He pointed out that this year coincides with the beginning of fasting for Christian communities, which leads to a decline in the consumption of meat in general. However, the local market sees an increase in demand for poultry during the first and last two weeks of Ramadan, which helps maintain balance in the market.
Regarding prices, Botros emphasized that poultry prices are governed by supply and demand laws, relying on the quantity of local production and the increased demand during this period. He added that prices are currently within reasonable margins, indicating a relative stability in the local poultry market.
