في إطار جهودها المستمرة للحد من الجرائم في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية، أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي ـ شعبة العلاقات العامة، في بلاغ رسمي، عن تمكن عناصر مكتب مكافحة جرائم السرقات الدولية في وحدة الشرطة القضائية من استعادة سيارة مسروقة نوع “بورش”، والتي كان قد استلمها المدعى عليه (ع. ف. مواليد 1981، لبناني) بهدف إصلاحها، ليقوم بسرقتها لاحقًا.

وبحسب البيان، تقدم صاحب السيارة بشكوى ضد المدعى عليه، الذي كان يعمل لديه، بتهمة سرقة السيارة بعد استلامها. وبفضل التحقيقات والتفتيشات المكثفة، تم رصد المشتبه به والسيارة في منطقة أوتوستراد المتن السريع – بياقوت، حيث جرى توقيفه بتاريخ 3 نيسان 2025 في مركز عمله، بالإضافة إلى ضبط السيارة المسروقة.

وخلال التحقيقات، اعترف المشتبه به بسرقة السيارة والتواري عن الأنظار بعد استلامها، موضحًا أنه كان قد خطط للسرقة أثناء قيامه بإصلاح السيارة. تم تسليم السيارة إلى مالكها، فيما أودع الموقوف القضاء المختص لإجراء الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.

Lebanese Internal Security Forces Recover Stolen “Porsche” After Mechanic Steals It During Repairs

As part of its ongoing efforts to reduce crime across various Lebanese regions, the General Directorate of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, announced in an official statement that officers from the International Theft Crimes Bureau in the Judicial Police Unit successfully recovered a stolen “Porsche” car. The car had been entrusted to the suspect (A.F., born in 1981, Lebanese) for repairs, but he stole it instead.

According to the statement, the car owner filed a complaint against the defendant, who had worked for him, accusing him of stealing the car after receiving it for repairs. After intensive investigations and searches, the suspect and the car were tracked down in the area of the Metn Highway – Bayyad, where he was arrested on April 3, 2025, at his workplace. The stolen car was also recovered.

During questioning, the suspect admitted to stealing the car and hiding it after receiving it for repairs, explaining that he had planned the theft while working on the vehicle. The car was returned to its owner, and the suspect was referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
