مجلس القضاء الأعلى يبحث تعيين رؤساء محاكم التمييز

بدأ مجلس القضاء الأعلى اجتماعه الأول اليوم الإثنين، في الساعة الواحدة من بعد الظهر، برئاسة القاضي سهيل عبود، وحضور ستة من الأعضاء الذين تم تعيينهم بموجب مرسومين صادرين عن مجلس الوزراء.

وأفادت مصادر مطلعة أن الاجتماع شهد مناقشة تشكيلات جزئية تشمل تعيين رؤساء محاكم التمييز، تمهيدًا لانتخاب اثنين منهم ليشغلوا مقاعد في مجلس القضاء الأعلى. كما تضمن جدول أعمال الجلسة بنودًا أخرى تتعلق بشؤون قضائية متنوعة.

وبعد اكتمال التعيينات، أصبح مجلس القضاء الأعلى مؤلفًا من رئيسه القاضي سهيل عبود، والأعضاء: جمال الحجار، أيمن عويدات، نسيب إيليا، سهير الحركة، نوال صليبا، ومنى صالح.

Supreme Judicial Council Discusses Appointing Presidents of the Court of Cassation

The Supreme Judicial Council held its first meeting today, Monday, at 1:00 PM, chaired by Judge Souhail Abboud, with the presence of six members who were appointed through two decrees issued by the Council of Ministers.

Informed sources indicated that during this session, the council discussed partial reshuffles affecting the presidents of the Court of Cassation, in preparation for the election of two of them to become members of the Supreme Judicial Council. The agenda also included other judicial matters.

After completing the appointments, the Supreme Judicial Council is now composed of its president, Judge Souhail Abboud, and members: Jamal Al-Hajjar, Ayman Oueidat, Nassib Elia, Suhair Al-Haraka, Nawal Sleiba, and Mona Saleh.
